It's not that we have nothing to do or an unbelievable amount of content to scroll through, just that ending a book feels like a crisis of sorts. Once you've crossed the first chapter, you're already forming a connection with the characters, and embarking on their journey. When the final pages turn, the characters you've grown to know and love part ways with you - and that's heartbreaking.

It's astounding that, in the past, we had to go to the library to find information in books and ask the librarian for help! Now, almost all information is at the palms of our hands, so there's no more terror of returning books late and getting scolded by the stern librarian. (Why are they always tough?)
