Runaway Cat Defies All Survival Odds to Find His Way Back to the Neighbors Who Showed Him What Love is, Leaving Behind His Old Life for a Better Family

Cats have an internal compass that leads them back to their favorite hoomans. No matter how far away they are or what sorts of spooky obstacles stand in their way, a determined feline points their heart due North and can find their way home in an instant—except, it's an awfully dangerous world out there for such a smol lil guy!

But for this determined runaway feline, getting reunited with the hoomans who saved him was far more important than a few pesky coyotes on the journey. After getting abandoned once outside, this kitty was discovered by the good-natured humans next door. Nursing him back to health, they realized that they might have found someone else's cat and looked for the love bug's original family. They reluctantly accepted him back only to have this feisty feline decide he wanted to be cared for by a new family. Purrhaps he realized what it felt like to be truly loved.

    and was diagnosed with FIV, a bad case of worms, and a high fever. we werent sure he was gonna pull through but his owners told us they didnt want him and we could keep him. now, 6 months later, he is living a fantastic life with lots of treats and toys, and his first ever christmas tree!

    goatswastaken OP we already had 5 so what was one more? we took his introductions very slow (since he has FIV), and monitored every interaction. hes been awesome with our other kitties and they all get along very well. he def felt like the missing piece of the family
