    Zorklunn 8h ago • • Double sided tape place at points of entry. Cat trys to climb tree and gets tape stuck to the cat. Cats runs around house until tape falls off. Repeat as often as necessary.

They still got to it the first year because the couch was too close so now it's two cat lengths from any furniture and more than counter height from the floor and it's held up for several years. I have to be careful about presents though because the cats will climb to get to that tree as soon as they see the opportunity.

    I tried those circle tubes ... so far so good and we have a kitten. He's got decoy plastic balls on the bottom.
