Couple get roasted for dressing in vintage 50s style and filming themselves walking around in public with selfie stick: 'I wish this was still the standard'

 If you like clothes, dressing up in a nice outfit is one of life's most accessible and simple pleasures. The OOTD or fit check has been a longstanding social media phenomenon for this very reason. What is a bit less understandable is trying to make yourself a martyr for it. While it is true that dressing in styles that deviate from the norm can attract more attention in public, sometimes there are other reasons that people are staring at you.

This certainly seemed to be the case for one TikTok couple, who raised eyebrows recently for filming themselves in their vintage-inspired attire. Taking a selfie stick through a busy street, many viewers were more focused on their self-conscious attitude than what they were wearing. Influencers in the wild are often a sight to behold, but usually, they carry themselves with a little more confidence. This does not appear to be like that.
