Tengwar alphabet (High-Elven) for English
There are a number of different ways of writing English with Tengwar. The main difference between them is in the representation of vowels and diphthongs. The version below is known as the Common Mode which has developed in recent years and has become the standard way of writing the tengwar among fans of the language. The Ancients alphabet (Stargate)
The Ancients alphabet is the written language of the Ancients (Anquietas), a race of highly advanced 'ancient' Humans who evolved in this galaxy millions of years ago. The original version of the Ancients font was first seen in the SG-1 episode "Torment of Tantalus" and was conceptualized by Ivana Vasak. The heavy, block style was inspired by a font used on a 1940s Czech propaganda poster, and the Ancients font was eventually refined and alphabetized by Boyd Godfrey for the pilot episode of Stargate Atlantis. Much of the Ancients text seen on the show contains 'in-jokes' not meant to be read by the viewers.

Atlantean (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
The Atlantean language was created for the film Atlantis: The Lost Empire by Marc Okrand, who worked with John Emerson, a designer at Disney, to produce an alphabet for the language. The language is spoken and written by the people of Atlantis in the film and is integral to the plot.
Okrand based the Atlantean language on a hypothetical reconstruction of the language spoken by the early Indo-Europeans using sounds common to modern Indo-European languages and some not found in any of them. He wanted it to sound like a real human language, to be easy to speak and to be unlike English. He was also inspired by Biblical Hebrew and Greek and Latin, as well as other documented and reconstructed ancient languages.

Aurebesh (Star Wars)
The Aurebesh alphabet appears in the film Return of the Jedi and in a number of Star Wars-related publications. It is used in the film to write the language of the Galatic Empire, known as Galactic Basic, which sounds and looks a lot like English.
A version of the alphabet appears in The Star Wars Roleplaying Game by West End Games and was designed by graphic artist Stephen Crane, and originally created by Joe Johnston, a designer and F/X expert on the Stars Wars films.
The name of this alphabet comes from the names of the first two letters, Aurek and Besh.

Daedric alphabet (The Elder Scrolls)
The Daedric alphabet is used in a series of computer games known as The Elder Scrolls produced by Bethdesa Softworks. It first appeared in TESL: Battlespire in about 1997 and is used to write English.
The Daedric alphabet also appears in episode 16, season 3 of the Canadian TV series Sanctuary on the walls of a vampire tomb.

Dovahzul (The Elder Scrolls)
Dovahzul, or the dragon language, is featured in The Elder Scrolls video game series, beginning with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim released in 2011. It has no official designation; fans of the series refer to it as Dovah (the language's word for "dragon") or Dovahzul ("dragon-voice"). The alphabet draws inspiration from the ancient Cuneiform script. Its runes are designed to resemble claw marks etched into stone, typically with two or three slashes and a dot or hook formed by the dewclaw.

Espruar (Forgotten Realms)
The Espruar alphabet is used in Forgotten Realms, which is a campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. The Realms were created by game designer Ed Greenwood around 1967 as a setting for his childhood stories
Espruar was the alphabet of the silver elves. Around 1357 DR, most elves across Faerûn used it to render messages, either in Common or in their own language. The language was also used on Evermeet.

Fremen (Dune)
The Fremen alphabet was created by John Quijada (who also created the Ithkuil language) in 1984 for The Dune Encyclopedia. It is a very simplified version of the Arabic script. Unlike Arabic, Fremen is an alphabet with full vowel indication and isn't cursive, most letters have a single form and there are no ligatures. Many Fremen letters look different from their Arabic counterparts, since the i'jam are not used anymore, each letter is visually distinct from the others instead.

Alien Alphabet (Futurama)
The Futurama Alien Alphabet appears in Matt Groening's animated series Futurama. It is used mainly to write signs which appear in the background of some scenes and which are often in-jokes.

Gnommish (Artemis Fowl)
The Gnommish alphabet appears in the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer. It is supposedly the ancestor of Egyptian Hieroglyphs and is used to write Gnommish, the language of the fairies. In the books it is used to write English and appears on the front covers, at the beginning of each chapter and runs along the bottom of each page.

Halo Covenant alphabet (Halo)
The Halo Covenant alphabet is used in the Halo video games to write the languages of some of the characters, and also as a cypher for messages in English. Used to write: Unggoy, Kig-Yar, Huragok and other languages of the Halo games

Old Hylian syllabary (The Legend of Zelda)
The Hylian syllabary is a script used in the computer games, Legend of Zelda, specifically the game The Legend of Zelda; The Ocarina of time and The Legend of Zelda; Majora's Mask. An unknown graphics artist developed the script for the Ninitendo games for the purpose of writing signs and other written elements in the game in its own unique script. Most of the translated signs are written in Japanese which probably influenced the design of the script.

Modern Hylian script (The Legend of Zelda)
The modern Hylian script (hairiamoji) appears in the Nintendo game: The legend of Zelda, the Wind Waker and was developed by an unknown graphics artist at Nintendo. Unlike old Hylian, the modern script has a system of distinguishing voiced and voiceless consonants. It also has four punctuation marks and a set of numerals.

Sheikah (The Legend of Zelda)
The Sheikah alphabet appears in the games The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a spin-off game of the Legend of Zelda series. Within the games Sheikah appears on architecture and artifacts, usually as single words, short phrases or sequences of numerals. It is used to write English and Japanese.

Klingon (Star Trek)
Klingon is the language spoken by Klingons, alien characters in the Star Trek films and TV series. In the 1984 film, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, the director, Leonard Nimoy, and the writer-producer, Harve Bennett, wanted the Klingons to speak a real-sounding language rather than gibberish, so they commissioned the linguist Marc Okrand to create Klingon.
Okrand based the language partly on Klingon phrases made up by James Doohan (Scotty) for the 1979 film Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and developed a grammar and more extensive vocabulary. Aspects of Klingon language and culture were further developed for the 1987 series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and later series.

Romulan (Star Trek)
The Romulan alphabet developed from an alphabet called Kzhad created in about 1988 by Monte Thrasher, a designer and illustrator in Los Angeles, who also designed the Romulan Imperial Insignia. Monte based Kzhad on the shapes of LED displays.
The Romulan or Rihannsu language was created by Diane Duane for use in her novel about the Romulans, a race of alien beings related to the Vulcans. Both Romulans and Vulcans appear in the Star Trek movies and TV shows.

Kryptonian (Superman)
Kryptonian or Kryptonese is language or the fictional planet Krypton, birthplace of Superman. The language appears in writing in the Superman comics at first as random squiggles. Then during the 1970s E. Nelson Bridwell created an alphabet of 118 letters, Kryptonese, from the squiggles.
In 2000 DC Comics introduced a transliteration alphabet containing symbols for each of the letters of the English alphabet. They also started referring to the language as 'Kryptonian'. They just used this alphabet to write things in English in the comics. A more complex version of Kryptonian alphabet appears on the TV show Smallville.

Matoran (lego Bionicle)
The Matoran or Bionicle alphabet is used in the Lego series Bionicle. It is used to write things in the constructed language, Matoran, and can also be used to write in English.

Menaphite (Runescape)
The Menaphite script appears in the online game, Runescape, and can be used to write English, German, French and other languages. It appears to be used mainly as decoration within the game.

Tenctonese (Alien Nation)
The Tenctonese alphabets were created by Joe Hawthorne, a sign writer in the Fox art department, and were most likely based on Pitman Shorthand.
The Tenctonese language was originally created for the 1988 Fox film Alien Nation. The first version of the language was invented by a USC film school graduate Van Ling, who used sounds from such languages as Chinese, Samoan and German to make Tenctonese sound Alien to English speakers.
The version of the Tenctonese language used in the TV shows was created by Kenneth Johnson and his daughter Juliet. They used a lot of English words spelt backwards or with their syllables scrambled.

Visitor alphabet (V)
The Visitor alphabet appears in the 1983 sci-fi TV mini-series V created by Kenneth Johnson. The alphabet is used to write the language of the aliens in the series, who are known as Visitors. Different versions of the alphabet are used in different series of the show.

Wakandan (Black Panther)
Wakandan is an alphabet designed by Hannah Beachler, and used in the 2018 film Black Panther. It is based on Nsibidi symbols. In the film it is used to transliterate English text in the credits and other on-screen text. Another script used in the film was developed by Oluwaseun Osewa and inspired by Nsibidi, a system of symbols used in southeastern Nigeria between about 400 and 1400 AD.

Wynnic (Minecraft)
Wynnic, or Ancient Wynnic, was created in 2015 by the developers of the Minecraft MMORPG Wynncraft. It is a substitution alphabet mainly used to write English and Irish, and also contains characters for several Roman numerals. It is often used in logos of the game, teasers and trailers, and it can be seen at certain points in the game itself. The community had to decipher the script when it got first introduced, but on April 7th 2017, an official Wynnic Transcriber was added to the game, containing all characters besides CH and TH.

Trunic (Tunic)
Trunic is an alphabet that was created for the game Tunic. It was developed by Andrew Shouldice as an alternative way to write English in the game.

Yevon Script (Final Fantasy)
In the Final Fantasy X game series a number of different constructed scripts appear, including the Al Bhed script, the Spiran Script and the Yevon Script. They are used as decoration and tranliterate words in English or Japanese. Cyphered versions of English and Japanese are also used in the games.
The Al Bhed and Spiran scripts are stylized versions of the Latin alphabet, while the Yevon script is based on the Siddham script, which is mainly used by Shingon Buddhists in Japan to write mantras and sutras in Sanskrit.

High Valyrian (Game of Thrones)
High Valyrian is a fictional language created by David J. Peterson which used in the Game of Thrones television series, and based on the few words of High Valyrian used in George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire.
High Valyrian can be written with the Latin alphabet, but is not written in the television series in the first two seasons. It does appear in writing in the third season. A writing system for High Valyrian was created for House of the Dragon, a prequel series to Game of Thrones
