Merry Christmas Eve, feline fam! In our house, not a creature is stirring, especially not a mouse (thanks to our apex predator kitties). We're purring with excitement over Christmas Day tomorrow, but we have one thing left to do: make some milk and cookies for Santa Claws. We have two problems with this, though:

  1. We're out of milk, butter, and sugar (and energy, tbh)
  2. Santa Claws wrote us purrsonally and told us he was on a diet this year

So, instead of leaving out sweet snacks for our calorie-counting Saint Nick, we're going to leave him the next best thing - meowrvelously merry cat memes! Think about it - they're something you can take with you in the sleigh on your way to the next house, they keep you giggling throughout the very, very long night shift, and they're a healthy treat that won't weigh down your sleigh ride all the way back to the North Pole. He's got a pawsitively arduous journey ahead of him, so let's add some jolly to his jingle with the help of our hissterical feline friends.

    Is it really too much to ask? We just want to be fed 100% of the time, all the time. Tuna for breakfast, for a mid-meowrning snack, Fancy Feast for brunch, dry kibble for lunch, a handful (or three) of treats for afternoon tea, and then a nice, hearty portion of chicken for dinner. Maybe a midnight snack, if we're still awake. It's not so complicated, hooman, all we want for Christmas is fooooooooood!

    Oh, you left that out for Santa Claws? He called us and told us he didn't want it, and that we could have it free of charge. They were quite tasty, although we think you went a little light on the tuna. In fact, we think you forgot to add the tuna to the cookies altogether. Next time, follow the recipe exactly!

    prokopetz Follow It took my new cat a while to realise that kissing the top of her head was a gesture of affection, but I think she's finally got it.
