Senior Snow Leopard Falls Ill, But After Becoming Friends With a Young Cub, Makes Miraculous Recovery Through the Heartwarming Power of Chosen Family (Video)

Happy Sunday, feline fam. If you didn't love cats before, this is the video to convince you otherwise. You can't not fall in love with snow leopards. They're literally the definition of awwdorable. They're so floofy, playful, and best of all, they hold their tails in their mouths for no apparent reason. It's the best. Anyway, one 19-year-old snow leopard (the equivalent of 100 human years!) seemed to be nearing the end of its life. It was slowing down, not eating well, and refusing to be its normal, playful self.

Until, one day, the zookeepers introduced a young cub to the senior snow leopard's quarters. Their relationship started off as a rocky one, but eventually, they learned to love each other. They grew closer and closer until they became like family. What did the zookeepers see after that? The senior snow leopard made a miraculous recovery, managing to live another 7 years! 100 years old?? That's insane. We're not even sure we'll make it to 100 years old. Once someone has to start changing our diapers, we think that's about it for us. But who knows what the future holds! We might be living until 200 years old thanks to future technology.

So, here's the deal if you don't feel like reading it all:

The younger snow leopard actually starts picking on the senior snow leopard. He ambushes him, steals his food, and generally makes his life harder. He continued to do that until the senior snow leopard took a fall while "playing" one day, and then their whole relationship changed. It turns out that he was picking on him to keep him more active, which ended up saving his life for many more years. A little tough love never hurt anyone, apparently!
