Happy New Year, dog lovers. The seasons may come and go, and the years may pass in the blink of an eye, but one thing will always remain a constant: our love of dogs. I don't know if anything could ever erase that for me. I understand that some folks have a hard time with dogs because of a traumatic experience, or a general sense of fear, but once you make a heart connection with a dog, it lasts forever. Once you let a furry friend into your inner sanctum, you can't imagine life any other way. But I will say, this doesn't automatically translate to other people's dogs.

Like other people's children, other people's dogs can be a bit of a shock to the system. Maybe they've raised them differently than you have yours, maybe they just aren't as interesting to hang out, maybe they don't immediately like you and it hurts your feelings. Either way, it may take a little more effort with different dogs. After all, they're just like people. They have their own deep-seated personalities, moods, and ways of being. You might jive better with a certain labradoodle than you do with a certain Shih Tzu. But no matter what, you'll enjoy these dog memes. They're for all dog lovers.
