Now that the pawliday season has come to a close, it's time to prepare for the cold, dark month of January. I call the strange, somber feeling that many of us feel at the beginning of the year the "January scaries". There's nothing actually scary about January besides the fact that we need to wait another few months until the spring flowers bloom and the neighborhood stray cats come out to play!

Furget about us pawrents, what about our feline fur babies?! They've been waiting for a constant stream of light to come through the window so they can bake until they're ready to make some biscuits… January doesn't really let our feline friends get cozy, either.

That's why pawrents must rely on their cattos this winter in the same way their cats rely on them! If there's any time of the year when cats and their owners need each other, it's January. Though it might be cloudy and cold this month, there's nothing a big blanket, cozy bed, and heating pad can't fix.
