26 Baffling Design Choices Found in the Wild (January 5, 2025)

In 2025, we're all still making mistakes. We may have grown and changed and made resolutions, but we're still messing up, and messing up big time. That will never change. 

Have you ever messed up so badly at a job that you felt like you couldn't show up to work the next day? If you haven't, you're a very lucky person. One time and this is absolutely true, I was called back into work because I didn't blow out the candle that my boss left lit under the register. Was it kind of bonkers that she had lit candles under the cash register? Absolutely. (It was some kind of manifestation thing, I don't know). But could I have burned down that whole store overnight? Yes, I definitely could have. Crisis averted. I've made plenty more mistakes than that, believe you me, but none quite as theatrical as that. And I'm sure I'll make more in the future.
