The comments only got more outraged from there.

Octavia @octaviarose93 Replying to @skinnyprinsess Wasnt even their first child. He knew how to properly secure them, he chose not to. She has defended him so shes a lost cause

hala!ne @bobalover102 Replying to @skinnyprinsess weaponized incompetence, for her child's sake she needs to put that man in his place

De-Lucy-onal @DeLucyonal Replying to @skinnyprinsess you are literally so right, that could kill your baby, like I would never trust someone again if they did this
  • 07
calico CQU @kcalicoe Replying to @skinnyprinsess lets swaddle the husband and strap him in like that and see how well he does in a car crash

Lady of Kyria @LadyofKyria Replying to @skinnyprinsess Yeah but if they divorce, and he has custody during certain times, who's going to make sure the baby is safely strapped in?

emilee harper @zillennialelder Replying to @skinnyprinsess I think he probably thinks it's no big deal, same issue some folks have w keeping the jackets on. They may just not know. If you tell him and then he still does it, it's deliberate. Being a new parent is like learning something new

Christina Soft @endlesslysoft Replying to @skinnyprinsess Yes this is something he should have learned at voluntary parenting classes

RealiTrashPanda @reali_panda Replying to @skinnyprinsess This is just ignorant. My husband and I learned EVERYTHING about parenting together. Especially car seats. If he needed. help I helped him. This is weaponized incompetence. Laziness. Recklessness.

Lil bit @leeannpenning Replying to @skinnyprinsess That is clearly a fresh a baby (meaning they left the hospital days to weeks ago). As a postpartum nurse, we literally have to ensure you know how to properly strap your baby in before discharging you. There's NO excuse for why he thought it was okay to risk the baby's safety.

kkane @KabbyKo weaponized incompetence to the point of endangering your child...big yikes
  • 20
R @OfflinePuppy "Haha so quirky my husband is dumb” no he's a safety risk for your children
  • 21
leslie rodriguez @leslienicholee It would be so scary to go home with a newborn and realize your partner's weaponized incompetence is at the degree of risking your child's live. This baby is sooo small, so fragile, and he could not care less what happens to it.
