Cat Considered ‘Feral’ Melts Hearts After Becoming the Friendliest and Most Gentle Feline Friend to a Newborn Baby

Can somebody give Pixar up a call? We have their next movie plat: A "feral" cat named Goblin and a newborn human baby becoming best friends. This isn't fiction, though, this is real life! Meet Goblin, a spicy little rescue cat that is not your friendliest feline furbaby. Her own mother calls her a "terrible evil stinky rat monster with no manners." The family has fostered and rescued over 200 cats and Goblin has been the only one to have ever "mauled" the faces of her and her husband. When they got pregnant, they were nervous about how Goblin or "Gobbo" would react to the new tiny creature in the home. They imagine the worst, so approached them meeting with caution.

However, their nerves were useless because "baby recognized baby" and they become "inseparable" the second they met. Now, the only thing the mom worries about when it comes to her human baby and her Goblin baby is a baby mutiny happening in the house! "What if they create a baby uprising?" she hilariously writes as the caption for her now-viral video about her newborn and "feral" cat. "With their powers combined they could do anything. What if Gobbo turns my baby evil??"

When you are a new parent, everything tends to be scary. What if your baby is allergic to your cats? Or peanut butter? What if they have too many blankets in the crib? What if they think you have abandoned them in the middle of the night?? What if your mother-in-law gives them something they choke on?? ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN?!

So it really wasn't that crazy for these folks to be afraid of their feisty lil spicy feline boss to treat their human baby badly, maybe even harmfully. So when they immediately saw that it was the complete opposite, they gave out the biggest sigh of relief. Now, to see her Goblin kitty and her human baby be the best of friends is a beautiful parent achievement unlocked.

Now, Goblin and her baby are not only besties, Goblin prefers the baby over her own hooman pawrents. That's right, she allows the tiny baby to pull at her tail, smack her face around as “pets,” and basically anything the baby wants to do, Goblin allows. But if her adult humans tried that, oh no. BIG no no. They get the mvrder mittens right away. Straight to jail.

Now, Goblin and human baby do everything together. Nap together, cuddle together, eat together, play together—they are simply the best of friends and it is one of the most wholesome things you will see on the entire internet right now.
