‘This person will always be an angel in my eyes’ Heroic hooman returns kidnapped cat child ‘Princess Diana’ to her furever family after being abandoned a thousand miles from home

Breakups are tough, even at the best of times, but when cat custody comes into the picture, then the waters can become quite murky. As this poster on Reddit found out when splitting from their partner. Upon moving out, the now ex, took off with one of their two cats and ran a thousand miles away from Princess Diana's home, leaving her lonely and detached from her feline sister and hooman pawrent. However, it was not enough for this ex to simply live a life of luxury with Diana, as evidenced by them abandoning her in an animal shelter far away from home.

  • When this poster was notified by the animal shelter that her cat child had turned up a thousand miles from home they immediately turned to the forums to plead for help from anyone who might be travelling in the direction of her home and who would not mind releasing Princess Diana from the safety of her shelter. They offered to pay for expenses, but they could not imagine what would happen when this wholesome heroic hooman only known as kallisti_gold would step forward to save the day. We will let you read on and find out about the angelic actions this internet hero carried out, but know that there are very few fabulous feline fanatics who would dare be so brave and bountiful.

    "Princess Diana" has been picked up from the shelter and the voyage to Spokane has begun! Flight times will dictate when her arrival will be but it looks like later this evening. I will share some pictures that the gracious volunteer who I believe is an angel has taken. I cannot say thank you enough to this person!! The time and finances being selflessly donated by this person is heartwarming and leaves me speechless with tears running down my face. Can't help but feel undeserved of such a kind

  • Honestly, these are the moments we live for here at Icanhas. The moments when the internet puts aside its silly squabbles over obtuse opinions and bands together to make magic happen. The outpouring of support and offers of help that OP received were so large in number that we did not have the space to cover all of them. But we can assure you that if it hadn’t been user kallisti_gold who came to this kitten’s rescue, then there were tens of others lined up and ready to put their money where their mouth is. Now sit back and take in the splendor of Princess Diana’s jovial journey home.

  • Aww this little snuggle bug just wants to be home. You can see how upset she is about being moved once again, who knows how many times she has been bundled up into her carrier and whisked away to who knows where over the last few months. Little does she know that this will be her final long haul trip and in a matter of hours she will be reunited with her furever family. The photos of her reunion below are so heartwarming, we just wish that it would not have taken losing her home and family, for such cute pictures of this feline queen to enter our lives.
