Life is all about stringing together as many good days consecutively as you possibly can. And having good days is all about stringing together as many good hours consecutively as you possibly can. And having good hours is all about stringing together as many good minutes consecutively as you possibly can. I could go on. 

It's easy to get overwhelmed when thinking about your overall state of well-being. Am I happy with where I am? Have I made the right decisions in life? Am I using my time on Earth in a positive way? These questions can swim around your mind like piranhas, ready to seize on any happiness you've managed to drum up. Instead of asking these huge questions, I prefer to stay in the moment. What's going on right in front of me? How can I quell the anxious thoughts right now? What is there to be grateful for in this very second? That's much easier to manage.
