Catto pawrents, it's a wonderful day to be holed up inside with our feline friends. Cat's are quite literally the best creation on earth. Look at your feline now—YES, right now—and give them a little pat on the head. They deserve it. While you're at it, run and grab their favorite treat and toy, hand it to them with kind eyes, and meow, "I love you!" Not every pawrent is fluent in meow-lish, but you'll get there eventually.

I find myself wondering if my cat, Cooper, knows how much I love him. Are my desperate attempts at love and affection simply a hissterical display of annoyance to him? Or are the treats in my left hand and cuddle-ready hand on my right enough for him to understand that I simply think he is the best thing I've ever known? Either way, I probably have to brush up on my meow-lish, too! I don't want my fur baby to think that it's my mission to disrupt his loafing slumber as he sploots right next to my radiator and hogs all the heat.

Do all cat pawrents experiment with different outfits? My cat pawdores wearing little sweaters I find at Pet Smart and it makes no sense to me. Sometimes he'll circle around the sweater until I surrender and put it on him. Hopefully, it keeps his little chunky neck and toe beans warm. Not like he needs it, though! He is a walking heating pad He might be on my chest as I write this. We love to see it, though!

A lil treat in moderation—a safe treat—didn't hurt anybody! If we're eating, our cats are eating, too. Though we'd love to give our cats all the hooman food they could ever desire, some things just aren't meant for them. At Christmas, give them a little diced piece of cheese. A lil bite…
Just don't be surprised when they turn into a puppy and start begging at the dinner table for some roasted ham and the bottom-of-the-bag fries from last night's McDonald's order.
