It's a bit like Frankenstein's monster of the design world - taking the still 2D sketches and bringing them to life as 3D steel objects. But unlike monsters, these creations are far more likely to inspire awe than fright. Unless, of course, you have a very specific fear of still drawings of household items coming to life.
