This is a special case of something that we have come to call ‘if you can’t be orange, you can have their minimal brain cell count’. A very special kind of cat behavior that is saved exclusively for cats who have grown up idolizing orange cats. We cannot be sure how this phenomenon comes about, and why a cat of a different color would choose this life, but apparently having a big brain is tough for cats too.
