"He ain't getting our spot. He can wait"

This happened earlier today, it was short and sweet. Was in one of the more crowded malls in my city where people go to especially on a Sunday with fam and everything. The mall is attached to a nice 5-star hotel, apartment complex,

ballroom, etc. You get the idea. Getting a parking spot is a b especially on Sundays, more so than Saturdays. So I'm done with my weekly lunch and shopping round with parents and got into the car. I literally just got half of my body into the driver's seat before

closing the door and this a h le came up from the corner and flashed his lights on me to signal that he wants the spot. It's an underground parking lot so him flashing made it even brighter than it'll be outside. I was

annoyed and mumbled to myself. Parents asked me "what'd that guy do that you're annoyed" "that daed old c_flashed me, he wants. out spot" Mom: "oh ☐ no, he ain't getting our spot. He can wait"

So here starts the waiting game where was abt 5 meters away the old c with his signal lights waiting for our spot while we're chilling in the car. Nail in the coffin was me exiting the car with my walk back towards the mall.

Dude saw me and started turning his head for other spaces, went away within 15 secs. Ofc I walked back to the car and got ready to move. Another car was immediately waiting for our spot and this guy politely waited for our spot, no flashing no nothing.

Went away happily and shared a laugh with my parents. And there ends the family sanctioned Sunday dose of petty revenge :)

Novagurl. Isn't the code to pull up put on your blinker and look very unbothered and wait as long as you need to?
  • 11
Even if I'm annoyed at waiting, honking or yelling surely isn't going to make anyone move faster.
  • 12
Take it slow, It'll work itself out fine All we need is just a little patience

turn down an aisle and a d le d in a lifted truck cut me off so he could follow them and get their spot. Of course I beeped and gave

the finger, but he just grinned at me through his side view mirror. Lo and behold, when the couple got to their parking spot, there was another car already

waiting (was trying to turn down the same aisle but d_ ☐ead blocked them) and slid right in when those people left. Sweet, sweet revenge

Effective-Hour8642 I've done that at Walmart around Christmas. Next door is Safeway (Grocery store). I'll go there to get what Walmart didn't have and other stuff. I was down by the nursery area, closest to Safeway AND near the items

I was shopping for. It's opposite the main entry area. I went to unload my purchases and was actually going to park in the Safeway parking lot (MANY spots) and the AH started waiting on me. Blinker on. However,

the hand gestors and the head nodding, like " - HURRY UP!" I got the cart unloaded, took it to the cart return area and WALKED MY HAPPY A over to Safeway.
