The day Kevin the cat became the unsuspecting hero of the apartment building: ‘My neighbor sounded frantic and desperate’

Now, cats and the people who parent them are a particular bunch. Sure, there are several differences upon the spectrum of cat carers, but one of the many things that unite them is their openness to the impossible happening. It is a trait that relates to believing the in Cat Distribution System, in the impossible stories of cats saving lives, and in the slight possibility, however slight it might be, that cats are actually magic. And taking that into account, it is not all too surprising that a situation such as the one detailed in this hilarious feline story actually happen.

But what is marvelous beyond the hilarity of this story, is that it has been told from the pawspective of the neighbor, who not only gets to listen in on the wholesome relationship this hooman has with his cat child, but actually got to play a part in making their connection deeper and more meaningful with one little knock of the door.

  • Well it is hard to say how much of a hero Kevin actually is, but thanks to this wholesome mishap, his hooman will forever believe that his cat child has special abilities that other cats do not. Which is not too far departed from delirium that most cat pawrents live in, so who are we to judge.

  • Now, this deserves its very own Subreddit and trend. Finding cats that are waiting by doors, knocking on said doors and running away, leaving just a curious cat and pawrent behind to deduce what happened. It is the feline friendly version of ding-dong ditch that we never knew we needed, but we so desperately do. Hopefully someone will set up a hidden camera show of this sort in the near future.
