The existence of internet culture as we know it relies on a reciprocal relationship between content creators and consumers. Without that, there wouldn't be any entertainment on the internet to speak of. Looking at and reacting to all of the silly memes and videos that we come across is almost like a price we pay for access to even more content designed to distract and amuse. It is a never-ending cycle that those who create are just as glad to participate in as those who consume. It means that assuming that we're chronically online enough, it's kind of our duty to seek out all the ridiculous things that people on the internet have decided are amusing today. At least it is one chore that we can find fun in easily, and there is no shortage of examples for us to focus on. The next task comes in the form of the examples below.
