They see me rollin' (my dice), they hating (on the nat 20 I just rolled). If you ever feel like you're in an emotional rut, like you're numb to everything around you and you have lost touch with your real feelings, just play a game of DnD. It will no doubt have you yelling at dice in no time. It will help you feel alive. There's nothing like sitting around a table with a bunch of adults and getting worked up over some imaginary characters and a puzzle that your other buddy made up. It makes you feel like a kid again, and isn't that what we all want? 

Getting in touch with your inner child is something so many therapists tell you to do, but it's easier said than done. Sure, you could run around the park chasing a ball with your friends, but it's too cold out for that right now. What if I told you you could access that childhood feeling while drinking hot chocolate in someone's basement?
