Dog mom's pup passes over the rainbow bridge, she find two friendly felines keeping her doggo's space safe and warm the next day: 'I really needed to see this'

Everyone who has ever owned a cat knows that cats are healing. They have a sixth sense for when you're feeling sick or emeowtional, and always know the purrfect thing to make you feel better. Maybe one day it's biscuits on that part of your back that you hurt a few days ago, or they just come over and purr on your chest to help you calm down. Sometimes, they just come and lick your face like a dog to wipe away those tears. For the person in the post below, it was something even more wholesome.

After her pup passed over the rainbow bridge, she couldn't bring herself to throw out her doggo's bed. We get it. We're not sure we will be able to also. We can't even think about that happening because if we do, we're going to break down in tears. Anyway, she woke up the next day to find her doggo's space safe and warm thanks to two friendly felines who needed a soft space to nap in.   • We're sure her doggo would be thrilled that its bed is being used to provide some comfy naps for animals in need. We're being completely serious. Dogs and cats can be best friends now - that stereotype of them being mortal enemies is completely outdated. So 1990s.

    NnyZ777 1d ago I donated one of my dogs bed to the humane society. A month later I went for a vet visit with my new kitten, and saw it being lovingly used by one of their rescues. I cried a bit, and was so happy to see it

  • They really are a good purrson. We know how hard it is to have one of your pets pass over the rainbow bridge. Even thinking about it now makes us emeowtional. But it is a part of life, and we got to give them the best life we could. We will never furget them.
