“It’s not a prank, that’s just cruel”: Woman pretends she’s secretly married already, fiance breaks up with her over immature prank but his family takes her side

When you're a kid, pranking can be some of the most hilarious fun you can have. When I was a kid I remember pranking my sister a bunch with the silliest things. I would put raw eggs in her bed, right underneath her cat sleeping. Sometimes I would also put raw eggs in her coat pockets so when she went out to wear it she'd find a raw egg in her pocket. When we were little we taped a stick to my arm and put ketchup everywhere around it, pretending to my mom that I had broken my arm. We would also prank call our home phone in the middle of the night and wake up my parents, then immediately pretend to be asleep. But the thing about these pranks is that we were probably around 10-years-old when we did them. We weren't adults, and they weren't cruel.

In the story below, the protagonist's fiancé pulls a cruel prank on him. She has her male friend come over and pretend like they're married, and that she's trying to get married again behind his back. The protagonist ends the relationship on account of this behavior.

He has every right for leaving her over this. It's lucky for him he saw her red flags before they sealed the deal and tied the knot with “I do.” It's always better to find out early so you can get out of the situation, even if it's painful.
