'Found this small kitten... I couldn’t stand doing nothing': Person finds 5-day-old kitty alone and helpless in a parking lot, waits for the momma cat who never shows and rescues the little fluffball

We tend to think about cats as these fierce independent creatures who will totally swipe their paw at us if we touch them at the wrong moment. Even kittens, small as they are, are fierce like that. It takes them a month, maybe even a little bit less, to get into that cattitude, to find their strength and sass. Not a long time. Not at all. And still, before they get all sassy and pawsome, there is that little period when they are not quite there yet. Even kittens need help sometimes.

And the kitten in this story definitely needed help. This kitten was alone and helpless, barely 5 days old. She was seemingly abandoned by her mother, and was definitely not ready to face the world on her own just yet. She needed help. This kitten needed to be rescued. And thankfully, before anything bad could happen to her, the Cat Distribution System delivered her the purrfect human to do just that.

We don't know what would have happened to this itty bitty kitty if you didn't save her, but we can only say that we are so glad that you did. Chances are that you are the only reason it survived. All it would have taken was one car coming into the parking lot and not noticing her for things to have gone completely differently.

We have to say that we love that the first react of people on the internet to stories like these is sharing stories of their own similar stories. It makes the whole thing so much better. It reminds us of how many amazing people there are out in the world if we only bother to look for them.
