The most relatable feeling is the desire to be alone! Most of us have a social battery, and when it runs out, we run out. There's nothing worse than feeling so over the social interactions, but people keep talking to you. It's like a nightmare coming true.

26 Introvert Memes That Accurately Depict the Desire to be Alone (February 11, 2025)
Imagine this: waking up in your cozy, pillow-filled, soft bed of sheets, your cat sleeping next to you, pouring rain outside, in your comfortable solo apartment after a long work week of social interactions, unwanted conversations, and too many faces surrounding you. Heaven on earth, am I right? Even for extroverts everyone likes to be cozy and alone at home, but for introverts, the feeling is just out of this world.
Everyone has their own way of expressing their introverted tendencies. Maybe it's going shopping alone, maybe it's sitting at a dark and gritty pub, listening to your own music, tuning off the rest of the world to enter your own space and hang out with yourself. Maybe it's taking a long, steamy, hot shower and feeling each and every droplet bounce on your skin, absorbing its warmth and comfort.
Being alone is fantastic, and being comfortable to be alone is even better. Even people in relationships or marriages need their alone time. I have a friend who makes her husband leave the house on her work from home day. "Ta ta honey, see you after 5 pm!" Everyone needs alone time, but some crave it more than others.
