It's so true though. It's just so much more interesting to make the female characters! Maybe it's somewhat narcissistic. I always try to make different versions of myself. I want to make every side of myself: my side who's obsessed with Japanese culture, my hippie side, and my goth side.

There's something so comforting about spending a day in bed, just playing The Sims. It's such a fun and immersive game. There's nothing like it. The concept is hilarious because it's just simulating real life, which sounds so boring! But we love an escape, a fantasy, and that's what The Sims provides.

20 Sims Memes for Gamer Girls Whose Coping Mechanism is Alternate Reality Avatars
Gamer girls, unite. Who else grew up playing video games? Where some of your first and favorite memories are in front of the TV with a controller in your hand. Video games are fascinating because of how immersive they are. Unlike a book, movie, or song, they incorporate everything at once. Video games started with simplistic animations and themes, where all you had to do was move across a road without getting hit by a car. Nowadays, they're works of art. People spend their lives working on the perfect game; the one with the well-written, complex plot, a beautiful soundtrack, expert animation, where someone can fully immerse themselves in a new world, be a new person.
When I was growing up, I was such a Nintendo girl. I was obsessed with Super Smash Bros, Mario Party, Mario Kart, and others. Of course I played things like The Legend of Zelda, and other non Nintendo games. One of the first games I ever played was Grand Theft Auto, which looking back may not have been the most appropriate for my age. Regardless, I had such fun driving around in cars.
Though I don't own any consoles now, I can still play games like The Sims on my laptop. And trust me, I can play for 8 hours easily if I'm not careful.
