Employee feeds feral kitten outside their offices every day for one year while purrfectly preparing their furrever home, finally decides to adopt the adorable kitty

Happy Caturday, friends! We love waking up and having heartwarming things to scroll through, and if we love it, we're sure you will as well. Once you're done enjoying some of the silliest small kittens we found on the interwebz this week, we have one purrticular kitten we want to bring to your attention. This kitten's life changed all thanks to one dedicated employee who noticed them hanging around outside their workplace. They fed the poor kitty nearly every day for a whole year to gain their trust.

During that year, they started purrfectly preparing their home to welcome this sweet cat. After a year, they finally made the decision to scoop up the precious feline (who was now an adult) and take them to their furrever home. After a brief adjustment period, the cat and the hooman became wholesome cuddle buddies, and we can't think of anything cuter than that. Scroll down to read the full story and see the comments below.   • Oof, what a poor guy! We understand taking the time to prepare properly, but we're not sure we could have waited a whole year. Heck, we would have trouble even waiting one week! We just can't help ourselves, but not everyone is a feline fanatic like we are.

    After watching this guy grow up over a year at my job, and feeding him almost day, it was finally time to take him home. Last Thursday I saw him for the first time in a week with a serious limp so with a co-workers help I caught him in a box. The vet says he looks great over all and x rays

    reveal no skeletal problems so she thinks he may have sprained it or maybe nerve damage. He's on 2 weeks of anti inflammatories. He goes in for his neuter and the rest of his shots tomorrow!

  • Yes, they should definitely prepaw themselves for some orange brain cell shenanigans. Just because the kitten grew up on the streets doesn't mean that it is free from its orange-ness. If you've ever owned an orange cat, you know exactly what we're talking about.

    waited the end of summer to make sure her babies were weaned. She was also a lot friendlier, pregnancy hormones I guess. She was friendly from the start, but gaining her trust took a very long time. All worth it.
