Senior man adopts wholesome hobby by giving out dog treats to strangers' dogs to make the most of his boring retirement (Video)

Howdy and happy Saturday, fam. The idea of retirement is something so far away that we can't even picture it (not because we're a young, spring chicken, but….we just can't think about it yet), but if we had to retire tomorrow, we would do something like what happens in this video below. It's a simple video, but that's why it's so special. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles of some crazily heartwarming adoption story, it's pawfectly wholesome just the way it is. 

This man loves dogs. He loves dogs so much that he sits on the street with a bag of dog treats, waiting for doggos to pass by so he can give them some and make their little tails wag. It's just good. We can't think of any other way we would want to spend the rest of our days other than giving joy to the animals that have given us joy our entire lives - our pawfect puppers.   • This is the power of puppers and the joy they can bring to our lives. Their love is everlasting, and once you experience the unconditional love of a dog, it inspires you to be a better person. At least, it clearly did for this man!

They don't have a dog of their own, but when they see me out with my dog they'll scurry inside to grab a small bag of treats, and usually they just end up feeding her the whole bag while chatting with me. My dog is spoiled. I have great neighbors.

    shadow-foxe 1d ago • We had an old gentleman in my area that would give out treats to dogs he met while taking his daily walk. My girl hound got one and from that point onwards she could spot him a mile off (literally she is a sighthound) and would pull me over to him while my male hound looked really embarrassed.
