Dungeons and Dragons is like jazz. Hear me out. If you know the basic rules, you can pick up and play with any other players in the world. It's improvisational, you never know what's going to happen when you start, and by the end, you've created some new ideas and moments that have never been done before and will never be done again. And, it sounds cool on first blush, then sounds really nerdy when you get into it, and then becomes cool all over again once you're two feet it. The best DnD players are like the best jazz players. They don't have to be classically influenced, all they need is to be quick on their feet, creative, and ready to adapt. 

I propose, then, that we make DnD feel as sensual and interesting as jazz. Jazz has jazz clubs, that serve fancy cocktails, have velvet booths, and dim lighting. What if we started playing DnD in these kinds of environments? And audiences would come and watch the really good ones.
