Fathers. We don't know what it is about dads claiming to "hate cats" all the time, but you know what? At this point, we don't even believe them anymore. They can say all that they want that they don't like cats or don't want cats or please, don't adopt a cat. They can say it, but it will go out of one of our ears through the other, because it's a lie. Because we have seen too many dads who "hate cats" fall in love with them harder than anyone the second the laid their eyes on them.

Today's story is just another example of that. Another dad who didn't want a cat. At least that's what he said. All the evidence points to the opposite. He may have said that he did not want a cat, but taking the cat out on walks, having scratchers all over his office, and making sure that the cat comes with him and his wife every time they go on vacation… yeah, we think this is another father who has lied to us - and himself.

The most classic dad moment. They don't want the new pets because they know what it takes to take care of them, and they don't think that they have the energy for it. But they do. Once they see the animal, all bets are off. Money and time will be spent to keep said pet as happy and spoiled as possible.

We can tell, just going by these few pictures, that this kitten is going to have the best life ever with its owners. Dad is going to be as involved as a father possibly can be, and everyone is going to see how smitten he is with the kitten, but he will never admit it. That is the law of fatherhood. But everyone will know.
