Unuspecting roommate comes home to find giant momma bear and her cubs exploring their house, films the whole thing (Video)

Happy Monday, animal fam. We've all heard the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, right? We'll give you a little refresher in case you're a little fuzzy (pun intended) on the details: a little blonde girl breaks into the house of three bears, eats all their porridge, and takes a nap in all of their beds. Well, today the three bears pulled an "Uno reverse" card and entered the home of one unsuspecting fellow and their roommate.

One of the roommates fell asleep with the doors to their house open, and upon returning home late at night, the other closed them and thought nothing of it…until they started to hear some noises in the kitchen. A midnight snack, perhaps? Well, when they got to the kitchen, they didn't find their roommate, but two bear cubs and a giant momma bear searching for food! The person ran upstairs and filmed the whole thing. We're not sure what we would do in this situation, but we probably would be too scared to film. Watch the whole video below!

  • We would be so torn. Do we pet them? Do we run from them? Do we run off into the woods and try to get them to adopt us into their bear family? Do we take them down to the kitchen, feed them, and then let them be on their merry way?

    _lyanli_ This happened to a friend of mine. Only the bear came through the kitchen window and was in the basement. He'd been home for a while sitting comfortably watching television when he realized what was going on. I hope you managed better than he did.

    flora_nicolini That's how it ended: "He was able to film the cubs from a distance as they came up the stairs, but eventually the mother bear got spooked and charged him. Ginn managed to lock himself in his room before the bear got too close. Ginn stayed in his room for a half hour or so before venturing out again. Luckily, the bears had left the premise.

    essentially_well_with_tawny It is NOT Ok. I'd be an emotional wreck...wanting to hug em, protect them but terrified mama bear will start growling at any moment but then who do I call?! Will they hurt them?! Ahhhhh!!!!

  • We would also run beary fast….straight into their arms to give them a big bear hug. We might only get one chance to do it in our whole lives. We might not survive, or maybe we would, and wouldn't that be a great story to tell.
