Entitled neighbor complains about resident's motorcycle, he doubles down after she tried to block him into his driveway: 'She deserves much worse'

Noise complaints are justified within reason. Unfortunately, in every apartment complex, neighborhood, etc., there is one disgruntled human who will make a fuss about the most minor and temporary noise issues. 

A friend of mine had just moved into her new apartment when the upstairs neighbor immediately complained about noise during the one-hour window when she was moving her furniture in. She had even introduced herself to warn all the tenants in her small building in advance. However, despite the warning, the neighbor was not having it and used this one instance as justification for constant complaints that would come down the road. The funny part is he was the one who would run around pacing and stomping on the ground at 3:00 AM in the morning. Oh, the hypocrisy!

  • Here, we have an entitled neighbor who, instead of kindly asking the resident to consider revving up his motorcycle at a convenient time, tried to get revenge by dangerously blocking him into his driveway. She almost caused someone to get hurt in the process (thankfully, no one was harmed). Still, this was not the way to go about it, and the resident knew he was no longer the person in the wrong here. So, he decided to get a little petty revenge of his own!

    Our Karen neighbor complained about another neighbor's motorcycle. It's a stock bike so he didn't add any loud muffles and prior to this he was very respectful. He would start the bike and drive conservatively out of the neighborhood.

    But then enters Karen. Karen complains about everything and everyone knows her. She has complained several times about the motorcycle and calls the cops frequently for dumb things. This

    time she decides to go too far and tries to prevent the motorcycle from leaving the neighborhood. She nearly ran him over.

    So now, because Karen literally tried to ml Or someone, the motorcycle rider starts his motorcycle a few times a day,

    rides to Karen's house a couple houses down, revs his engine for a few minutes, then speeds away in the most obnoxious way possible. He's even had some of his buddies come by in a sort of you, Karen" parade. "f

    I talked to him, we know each other and he's a decent dude, and he at least agrees to stop doing this at night and to ride safely since there are a lot of kids in the area.

    I honestly can't blame him at all because everybody hates this b and she deserves much worse considering what she did. I just wish there was a legal way to get her to stop being such a b

    gcalig I suggest sharing a high quality recording of a motorcycle with your neighbors so that even the car-drivers can make motorcycle sounds through their stereo speakers when they pass Karen's house.

    oneplanetrecognize I have the opposite problem. I have a neighbor that absolutely hates our EV. It's quiet as h I. He bought a midlife crisis mobile (like a white '97 camero) and regularly drives it by our house and pauses to Rev the engine. It sounds sick.

    He knows I work nights and am asleep when the kids are at school. I wake to this racket every day when he pulls it out of storage. My 10 year old went over there one day to see if he wanted him to help him fix it, because "clearly something is wrong.

    It's sounds awful." My son is a raging gear head. Even he hates the noise of this thing. But I swear to all that is unholy, he didn't start this sh until we got our EV. I offered to race him once.

    Just to shut him up. He declined. Maybe vecause your waste of $70k will take 6 seconds to get to 60mph and mine never needs gas and only takes 2.7 seconds? He's such an a h le.
