Some of these comments are just cruel. Why should she feel bad about her love language, and the fact that she likes to guy her friends things? Sure, there's a line that maybe she crossed. It's okay to buy friends gifts, but she is definitely overdoing it. Who has that much money that they're paying for someone else's honeymoon in Japan? That's insanely rich.

Woman revokes lavish wedding gift and trip to Japan from friend after overhearing her real opinion on the friendship: “She tricked me into paying for her honeymoon”
The relationships we have with our friends are just as important as the relationships we have to our parents, family members, and partners. All of them need respect, communication, love, openness, and a sense of fun. All of them can break our hearts, destroy our ideas and notions behind love, and betray us. Trust building is real no matter if it's your mother or your boyfriend. If you feel like a friend doesn't appreciate you, or they're using you then it can be just as painful as if your boyfriend betrays you.
In the story below, the protagonist is a woman who has been financially generous with her friends. From paying for them at fancy steak dinners, to providing the financial means for them to go on vacations. She's financially well off, and buying her friends things is her love language. To her surprise, it isn't exactly what one of her friends had in mind. One of her friends didn't care much about their actual friendship, and it turns out she was just using her for free things. After overhearing this odious confession, the protagonist takes back all the things she's promised her friend. She no longer will be paying for her honeymoon in Japan.
