Where would the world be without our wholesome cat community, feline fam? Cats would just be wandering the streets, causing chaos, and probably, the whole world would fall apart. Thankfully, we don't have to face that scenario (yet) because of all of the ameowzing people that put cats before themselves and go out of their way to help floofy felines survive in this hooman world. There always seems to be someone to pick up the pieces where one purrson drops them, and for that, we are purrfectly grateful.

One of the things we least understand is people who don't take their pets with them when they move. We know it's hard to move with pets, our cats did not like when we moved to a new apartment, but eventually, they got over it. But leaving them behind was never an option. And yet, some people do it! After one family moved out and left their sassy black cat behind, a kind neighbor stepped up and rescued the wholesome house panther. See more below!

  • That is one sassy cat. Like, the sass levels reached maximum, and then went even higher. That cat could give even Grumpy Cat a run for her money - and that's saying something. She's a cutie though, that's for sure!

    Best feline companion I had was a black cat abandoned by my neighbors. The cat was badly injured when the parents moved out of the house, but they left their son behind to keep an eye out for him. Spoiler alert: he didn't.

    Cat got worse. The whole neighborhood tried to catch him but couldn't. We set humane traps and caught every cat in the neighborhood except the abandoned cat. We finally got him, and took him to the vet to get him fixed up. I lived in terror for years (until we moved) that his former owners would come back and try to claim him.

    akaals When I went to look at my house I saw a beautiful black cat and thought "maybe some day I can have a cat like that" Once I bought the place and moved in, I saw that he had been abandoned so I gave him a new name and took him in. We had over 13 wonderful years together where I paid for everything and he was very handsome. The end.

    I think that's what happened with me. She's been a neighborhood stray for a couple years. I had her spayed and brought her inside 6 months ago. She loves her new life.

    clevernattyboo Aww, she looks like my Minn! Sorry the neighbors were jerks, but lucky you! If she's anything like mine, she'll be your best, most constant lil purrball furball companion. Minnie was also either dumped or abandoned but she knew she was home when she walked up to me meowing for help. Give your lil one some scritches for me.
