'I blocked them': Bride goes no contact with family after stepmom ushers her off the dance floor so her dad could share father-daughter dance with 9-year-old stepdaughter instead

Some women dream about their wedding day from the time they're little girls. There are so many steps that go into planning. The dress, the venue, the cake, and, of course, the music. My best friend is getting married next year, and she already has an entire playlist lined up for her DJ. But the real pressure comes from choosing the perfect songs for the big dances. Your first dance with your husband and, for many brides, the father-daughter dance.

This bride had always been close with her dad, even visiting him every Sunday for dinner, so she couldn't wait to share that moment with him. But leading up to the wedding, he made a strange request. Since he was funding most of the event, he felt entitled to a second father-daughter dance with his youngest child, the bride's 9-year-old stepsister. She immediately shut it down… only to be blindsided when her stepmom ushered her off the dance floor mid-song so her dad could have his "moment" anyway.
