25 Cute Cattos Collecting Attention From Their Adoring Hooman Fans (That’s You!)

In a very specific way, cats are kind of like Buddhist monks. Well, actually in more than one way. First, you have their frequent 'meditation' sessions, that usually take place in the sun. Then you have their zen gardens (also known as the litter box that fills up with waste in two seconds). And finally you have the fact that cats go around the hoomans in their area collecting attention, which will ultimately turn into food. Which is much like the monk's morning walk around his community to collect food donations. Which does make one wonder where the line between cat and monk is actually drawn.

But regardless, you had better prepaw, because there are a lot of cats coming your way, and they are depending on you for their daily dose of attention. And you had better be present and ready with it.

  • As those of you with hooman children will know, attention seeking comes in many shapes and forms. And in certain cases things can get rather clawminal when not enough attention is being given. And this is exactly what we are seeing here, a cat who has been neglected (at least in its own eyes) who has exacted its revenge upon the hoomans who have no time for him.

  • Being the attention seekers they are, cats will do whatever it takes to get their daily dose of attention. And apparently they will stoop to such lows as having their head be made into a borger for hoomans to monch on. Not that we have anything against this idea, in fact it sounds rather wonderful.
