Wholesome people find beautiful stray street cat and fall in love with him, only after they adopt him they realize that he is a very expensive cat breed

Good meowrning, I Can Has-ers. We think all cats are beautiful, from the meowjestic maine coons to the standard-issue tabby cats that are a dime a dozen. Each cat has their own unique traits that make them beautiful and we don't need a fancy or rare fur pattern to convince us that each cat is the most beautiful cat in the world. That's because as long as the cat wants love, trusts us, and considers us its family (or servants, as the case may be), we think that that is where the beauty comes from.

Now, don't get us wrong, our jaws still drop when we see a beautiful bengal…we have even been known to stop in our tracks for a sultry serval cat every so often. But those physical things don't matter to us, and they also didn't to the wholesome people in this post! They found a stray street cat in need, fell in love with him and adopted him, only to realize later that he is a "designer breed" that is not only uncommon, but expensive.   • We had a dog-like cat when we were growing up. She was a tortie and full of toritittude. She played fetch better than our dogs. She would meow at us until we pet her, and then even more if we dared stop. It was the best. We miss you, Meow! (Yes, Meow was her name, we named her when we were like two years old so don't come for us).

    Lefty522 My husband found a snowshoe Siamese at the post printing plant in the Bronx. Gorgeous girl, was living outside for about a weekbefor he took her home. She was pregnant and gave us 3 cow cats and a tuxedo. Sadly, she passed last year of kidney failure.

    ValiantValkyrieee really this cat is gorgeous, but it's probably not a "designer breed." all these things that make it look "fancy" can crop in wild/mixed breed cats. the blue points is not limited to siamese cats - it's a up

    recessive trait but it crops up all the time in normal colonies. it's called colorpoint, and they're referred to by their specific color. this is a blue lynx point. the stereotypical dark brown in siamese cats is seal point.

    the white patches are a very normal spotting pattern and is not limited to ragdolls. a lot like siamese, ragdoll (a newer breed) is quickly becoming the colloquial name for this particular spotting
