Miso had a tough start, arriving at a rescue in need of multiple eye surgeries to stitch his lids closed. He spent a few months recovering, adjusting to a world without sight, and waiting for the right home. But once he found his forever family, there was no stopping him! Now, this fearless little guy is all about adventure, making up for lost time with his love for exploring.

Several times a day, Miso struts through the neighborhood on leash walks, charming everyone he meets. He's become a local celebrity, and if he had it his way, he'd be outside 24/7. Since that's not possible, he's mastered navigating indoors too—using centralized movement, just like blindfolded speedrunners! Miso's story is a heartwarming reminder that disabilities don't define ability. Miso may not have sight, but he sees the world in his own way—and looks incredibly fancy while doing it. This brave boy is living life at full send, and we are here for it.

    Just a little more info in case anyone wants to know. He was kept by himself for a few months at the rescue following his eye surgeries (just stitching the lids closed), so he loves to explore and roam as free as he can be. We take him outside several times a day and walk him around the neighborhood. He is very popular with the neighbors.

    He is still young and a boy kitten, so he is full send pretty much from the moment he wakes up. If he could live outside, he would. Our housing situation doesn’t allow for that, so it’s leash walks around the neighborhood for the brave boy.

    Interesting side note about Miso: he uses centralized movement to navigate our house, the same way blindfolded speedrunners do.
