Dog Fails Service Animal School But Gets Adopted By Loving Hooman, Pawdorably Still Alerts for Love and Attention

The only time you fail is when you don't even try. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. So Leo here is an accomplished pupper, if you ask us. Yes, he failed service animal training and had to drop out. BUT at least he fearlessly tried, and that's more than most of us can say. Plus, he still learned how to alert and can communicate better with his hooman more than some grown adults can communicated at all. So we are team Leo. The sweet doggo has been going viral recently for the POV his mama posted of him alerting her constantly. People ask why he is doing such a thing since she doesn't have a medical need that requires a service animal. She explains and it's the cutest thing ever…

Leo was trained to alert, and when he did, he would get treats. However, it would seem, that he couldn't quite grasp that he was supposed to be alert for medical reasons and not just because he was in need of love and attention… And a dog loves love and attention, that's why dog people love them so much, because they love to give doggos love and attention!

So whenever Leo alerts his mama, she knows to shower him with all the love and affection in her heart, and he is a happy pup because of that! He even picks out her shoes, which he was trained to do, but, again, he's a drop out, so he's not the best at it. His mama still wears the shoes though, even if they are mismatched… See sweet Leo in all of his glory below!
