‘His eyes were still blue’: Hooman worries they adopted sweet kitten too soon, carefully takes care of the newborn baby, who grows up to be a beautiful boy

Taking care of a newborn kitten is both a scary and beautiful experience. Unlike adult cats, who are quite independent little creatures, kittens, especially when they are only a few days old, require a lot of care. They need to be bottle fed, cleaned, kept warm, and, of course, loved, to successfully grow up. Those who grow up with the pawdorable mothers are covered, but if a hooman ever finds themselves taking care of a kitten without a mom, they quickly understand how huge the responsibility truly is.

In our household, we have two sweet kittens, a mother and her son. We got the mom while she was still pregnant, so we had the pleasure of taking care of her as she was taking care of her baby, and it was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives. Yet we still hope that one day we will get to help a kitten who needs that motherly touch, just like the hooman in the story below did for their sweet orange baby.
