Remember when you used to be like, "phew, that was one crazy week! Can't wait to chill this week!!" and then you'd have a chill week and think back and laugh at how crazy that last week was? Yeah, now every week is a crazy week. That's parenting for ya. You know it and you love it. But you are also so tired. And miss having less responsibilities. And miss being irresponsible. And miss eating whatever you want whenever you want. And going out drinking on a whim. And buying clothes just for you! And ugh… It's a lot to miss, and it's totally okay to miss that. But you now have your baby. Something you have never loved more in your life. You'd give up all of those things you miss a thousand times over again for this little carbon copy of you and your partner. Isn't parenthood so strange and yet so beautiful?!
