Pregnancy is beautiful. The wonders of childbirth are truly amazing. Becoming a mother will be the best experience of your life. Bla, bla, bla. Okay, that sounds nice and all, but like, why do you get that by not being allowed to do ANYTHING fun for at least 9 months?? I understand the under-appreciated female body is literally making bones and guts and stuff, so it needs all the health and energy it can get, but like… Uuuuuugh. Let a pregnant lady complain a little, please?! They have to quit drinking coffee cold turkey after having drank 4 to 5 cups every day for the past 20 years or more! They can't have midnight margaritas or bottomless brunch! They can't even have friggin' deli meats. Like, "Oh, congrats! You are a goddess-like vessel bringing life to the world! NO ITALIAN SUBS FOR YOU!" They already have heartburn all the time, now you're gonna break their heart again by taking away their favorite type of sandwich?! Rough.
