Remember when your parents would tell you not to post everything on Facebook? This might be unique to Gen Z, where our parents were smart enough about social media to look at our pages and monitor our posts but resigned to the fact that they can't stop us from using it entirely. My mom would always warn that employers would be looking me up online to see if I'm too much of a party girl to work for a company. I'm sure it's still true that HR departments do a scan of a potential new hire's social media to ensure that they're not posting transvestigation conspiracy theory videos 18 hours a day. I used to think I wouldn't get hired if someone found me using foul language on Twitter, but it's become increasingly clear that there are much worse things you can do on social media than swearing or being "unprofessional."

  • Today's parents don't seem to care much about posting incendiary things online. They do so without a second thought, and thank God they do, because these unhinged posts are just so darn entertaining. If you're a parent scrolling along, I wouldn't take these posts as an upstanding example of good posting etiquette.

    It's mind-blowing that we've normalized babies crying themselves to sleep, but moms who sleep with their babies get labeled irresponsible or "too attached."     Co-sleeping is dangerous, it has nothing to do with the system. There are special bassinets called bedside sleepers that parents can attach to their beds that allow co-sleeping while ensuring the baby's safety. Improper co-sleeping increases the risk of SIDS, the parent might roll over onto the baby in their sleep, and the softer mattress isn't appropriate for babies to sleep on as it can cause positional asphyxiation.     Nah, I think it's dangerous because I actually look at the statistics that are not skewed. Just because it's common around the world doesn't mean it's okay. The data shows all the deaths caused by parents who were being irresponsible and those who were being responsible but had a freak accident.     Honestly leaning towards flat earth a little because why would they tell the truth there. Anyways. Is just explaining that it is a theory okay.     gett Top contributor We are team leaning towards flat earth but we teach the standard stuff and give them the possibility that it all might be different and when they are old enough we'll lay a lot more out there for them. We basically say no one actually knows. My husband has gone DEEP into flat earth and is a highly intelligent man so the fact that he has landed pretty solid on it gives me extra piece of mind. He's had hours long discussions with pilots, engineers etc and has a lot of answers
