Pawdorable Dachshund Sees His Working Farm Dog Siblings and Wants In, Proves to Be a Doggone Pawmazing Livestock Herder

We love all dogs, but there is something about rooting for an underdog that really tickles our fancy. We have all heard of working farm dogs, that's why many were bred in the first place! There are livestock protection dogs, herding dogs, etc. Their physique was bred to be the most ideal for the job they are being put to. When you look at a dachshund, you don't see a body made for muscle and endurance. You might see speed and fitting in small spaces, which is technically what they were bred for, but you don't really see working farm dog muscles on that cute itty bitty body.

However, there is a wiener dog viral on TikTok right now that is proving just how hardworking a dachshund can be on a farm!

This cutie patootie has the average build of a healthy dachshund. Long and short, with tiny little legs and floppy ears. He is absolutely adorable. He lives on a farm with working dogs who have been bred for this kind of work for generations. He is considered the domesticated family house pet on the farm, but observing his working dog siblings, he starts to feel left out. He wanted in on the fun!

So he started running alongside the path with them, the kelpies and shepherds doing a casual trot while he was going full speed! And he loves it. Eventually, he wanted more. So his hoomans gave him the chance to do a little herding, and boy did he take to it like a dog to a bone!

Sure, he's not the go-to working-dog the family uses to herd their livestock, but they still allow him to get some action in and he seems like the happiest pup just for that!
