When you find out a hot piece of gossip in your office, do you share it or do you keep it to yourself?

It's always interesting to view the differences between these types of offices, the ones where gossip is constantly flowing among employees, and offices where everyone keeps important information to themselves. Realistically speaking, whether or not you should share information with others usually depends on the information itself. To whom it may concern, how delicate is it, and what effects sharing it might have on others?

The more you involve yourself in gossip, the more you realise that most of the time, it's actually better to keep your mouth shut. It is almost never helpful to involve yourself in office drama that does not concern you, and the outcome of sharing that drama with others will probably only hurt you and everyone else.

For example, the employee in the story below found out that their boss is about to get fired. Having this insanely hot piece of gossip made the employee consider warning their boss of their upcoming termination, and they turned to the internet to ask what they should do.
