Happy almost weekend, animal fam. We don't want to ruin the mood, but we have to talk about something impawtant: thousands of animals are abandoned every day. If money was no object, we would make it our life's mission to go out and save every single one of them - just like the heartwarming family that found this puppy who was abandoned in a trash bag at the head of a hiking trail. He was left behind - scared, cold, and alone. But he didn't give up. And thanks to his heroic hoomans, his past does not define him.

They gave him a second chance to be the doggo he was always meant to be. Now he sleeps on a comfy bed, plays with his canine siblings, goes out for hikes for fun, and enjoys his life. With their love and support, he changed from a dog with no future to a dog with a future full of cuddles, snuggles and treats. Scroll down to watch his wholesome journey below!

Nothing makes us smile and want to cry at the same time like a heartwarming dog story. They are happy tears, sure, but they are still tears. We're so happy for this pupper, but we also can't help but think about all the other doggos in the world who need our help. Go hug your dogs for us, please!
