I hate picking sides in a family argument. Regardless of who comes out on top, you're left a traitor to the other side, knowing that this alliance will come back to haunt you. But this mom in our next story picked the wrong side to align with, choosing her stepdaughter and her new husband over her biodaughter. 

Although she didn't realize it, this mom's choice to take care of her 19-year-old pregnant stepdaughter effectively drove away her 16-year-old daughter. However, the mom knew that the stepdaughter had tormented her kid for years, but thought that the bad mojo was behind them. Well, it certainly wasn't—and when the stepdaughter, pregnant and bursting with new hormonal hatred for her stepsibling, chaos broke loose in the house. 

Lucky for the teen, she could take refuge at Dad's house, fleeing from her old life to protect herself from her mortal enemy: Her stepsister. Sorry, Mom, but you made your camp on the wrong side in the hopes of getting a grandchild out of it, but you lost a biodaughter in the process.
