What do you do when your kids are on spring break and you can't take a week off work to watch them? That's a problem a lot of parents are dealing with right now, and there's not one clear solution. If it were the 1980s, you would leave your kids at home and tell them not to open the door for anyone or answer the phone. That could get you in trouble, so it's probably better practice to get a babysitter, family member, or family friend to watch them during the day. Unfortunately, there's not really daycare for older kids, nor are there the kinds of day camps that exist in the summer for them to attend. If you can get permission from your boss to take your kids to work, it might be a solid option, as long as you can watch them and make sure that they're safe.
