The funny thing about entitled family members is that the vast majority of the shade is often thrown behind closed doors. In-laws can be particular and hard to please, and there is nothing more awkward than trying too hard to please the perpetually unimpressed. This woman had been married to her husband for over 30 years and had hosted countless events for her family and her husband's extended family. Unfortunately, however, she is only just realizing now that there is absolutely nothing she can do to fully be considered a part of the family in the eyes of her entitled mother-in-law.

Forget the fact that this woman has had kids with her husband and has given her mother-in-law plenty of time with her grandchildren. Forget the fact that this woman has never missed a birthday or special event for anyone on her husband's side. She even does all the planning for said events. Now, all that was going to change…
