Most dedicated animal lovers and pawrents are part of at least one Facebook group that focuses on lost animals and pets. When I lived in a pretty rural area in my time at college, I'd frequently check the Facebook group to see if I spotted any missing animals that had disappeared in the neighborhoods and surrounding counties. Animals travel fast, you know?

Many times, I was able to at least give an eyewitness account of what I saw and hint where they might've gone next—any help is appreciated when pawrents are searching for their furry loved ones.

In this next story, a Facebook post to a missing animals group allowed two hoomans to rescue a gorgeous brown pup who was clearly waiting to be rescued. However, when trying to reel an animal in to safety, patience and a lot of kindness are required. Luckily, the hoomans who posted this TikTok knew exactly how to make the doggo feel as cozy as can be.
